The name “Half Moon Light” was inspired by our founder Vivian Li’s passion for eyelash extensions. Her professional beautician, Ana, often struggled with glasses slipping down while working, requiring constant adjustments. Ana also needed an assistant to hold a small lamp to illuminate the shadowed areas of her hands for precise application, especially since Vivian had severe eyelid allergies to the adhesive used. Vivian envisioned a lamp that would protect eyes while providing shadow-free illumination for beauticians. On her way home, she looked up at the crescent moon in the sky, sparking the idea to name this innovative lamp “Half Moon Light.”
